Recimate 1.3 is officially out today! This update features many quality of life changes like reordering ingredients, better profile picture uploading, and increased loading times. For a more complete list of changes, read below.
Cookbook Tabs
- You can now share an entire tab of recipes with your friends and family
- Sharing a tab enables the user to view all of your recipes within the tab without having to individually grant permission for each recipe
- You can reorder how your tabs are displayed from the preferences tab of the settings page

Ingredient Management
Behind the scenes, we have changed how we manage ingredients. This will allow us to maintain our ingredients database more efficiently and you will see an improvement in how long it takes us to add new ingredients to our database!
Minor Tweaks
- The author of a recipe is now displayed when viewing the recipe
- When you upload a profile picture in the settings page, you will be given the opportunity to crop the image
- You can now rearrange ingredients, notes, and directions when editing a recipe
- An email notification will be sent to users when you share a recipe with them
- Added User Guides
- Viewing the recipe preview in the cookbook page no longer displays total minutes but HH:MM
- You can now submit feedback through the feedback tab of the settings page
- Only show the remove icon for ingredients/directions/notes when you are hovering over section you want to remove
Bug Fixes
- When the name of a recipe you've favorited is updated, the change will reflect in your favorites tab
- Improved handling of recipes in tabs being removed/un-shared
- Removed rendering of notes section on print page when notes is empty
- Improved error handling when API calls fail
- Cancelling on edit recipe now redirects to the view recipe page
